Job Description

Airline MRO Software Sales Executive

A leading global Travel IT supplier is looking for an MRO Software Sales Executive for its MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) products to work from in the Europe and North America region.

Candidates should have a demonstrated experience to develop and execute sales strategy, drive customer acquisitions and enable revenue growth in the commercial airline MRO IT space. The candidate will be responsible for driving MRO IT sales comprising of the MRO IT Product offering, MRO Consulting & MRO Digital Services.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Expert knowledge of airline MRO business

* Have the industry contacts in the MRO industry

* Experience of product sales into the MRO industry

* Ability to understand individual customer challenges and to develop value propositions

* Capability to handle business specific discussions with customers

* Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level within IT and business areas

* Excellent negotiations skills and the ability to negotiate effectively with senior executives

* Experience of working with globally distributed teams

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Main Responsibilities

* Create IT sales strategies to grow the overall MRO revenue business with significant contribution from consulting & digital services

* Lead the execution of sales strategies including direct sales with senior customer stakeholders

* Responsible for driving YoY sales growth for the MRO line of business

* Other Support / secondary functions

* Provide inputs to craft MRO IT solution offerings – Consulting & Digital Services

* Provide support for marketing activities and for creating industry thought leadership

Skills & Experience

* At least 3 years of leadership experience in crafting & executing IT sales strategies for major customer acquisitions

* At least 7 years of overall sales experience with around 5 years in the commercial airline MRO domain

* Well-connected in the MRO IT industry & experience in engaging airline business heads
