We are delighted to be assisting our client with their requirement for a Business Development & Events Co-Ordinator. On behalf of our client we are looking for this role in their growing Client Development team in Bristol
or Exeter. In this role you will be supporting with their business development and events activities aimed at identifying, targeting and capturing new business opportunities and strengthening their client relationships within key sectors
You will work closely with the Business Development Managers and Events Manager, along with the Client Services and Business Support team members to be a part of numerous, varied strategic project you have real opportunities
to build experience and knowledge of growing business in the legal world
In this role you’ll be involved in:
Work with the BDMs and Events Manager to deliver sector and group events
Contribute to and help implement their sector business development plans by supporting on a broad range of business development activities and working closely with sector Business Development Managers.
Assist with the production of client and pitch-related documents including creating capability statements, presentation materials, team sheets and other ad-hoc requests for sales and other branded materials.
Collating company-related research to support planning and drive sector strategies and individual sales opportunities.
Work with Business Development Managers and with members of their marketing communications team to generate content and share through our internal and external communications channels.
Assist with external profiling activities, events and planned sector campaign activities including identifying opportunities and targets, maintaining mailing lists, helping with content development and promotional support.
Tracking and reporting on sector objectives, co-ordinate and prepare routine management and other ad-hoc reports.
For this role our client is looking for someone ideally who has gained the following experience:
Previous experience in a business development role (preferred)
Professional services experience (preferred)
Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills, and proof-reading skills
Outstanding organisation and time management
Attention to detail
Excellent PowerPoint, Word and Excel capabilities

Bristol (central with no car parking) but hybrid working (or Exeter)
Monday – Friday 36.25 hours per week
