Our client is one of the largest and most successful largest digital integrated-service Groups within the UK. This particular role is to join and lead the Business Development function for one of their Ecommerce agenciies who are a major player within the luxury, beauty and fashion markets, This is a high profile role with huge scope for progression. It is a mix of new business and account management and we are looking for specific experience of working with beauty, fashion and lifestyle brands.
Main Duties will include:
* Negotiation and closure of new business opportunities to meet growth targets
* Leading on face to face pitches for new business with large blue chip brands
* Preparing sales presentations, proposals and contracts
* Work closely with our MD and Client Services team in order to provide handovers to new clients and ensure they transition well into the agency
* Identifying areas for growth within exisiting clients
* Building relationships with existing clients and identifying areas for growth and to improve their performance
* Keeping up to date with industry and company trends and developments
* Leading the BD and AM management and overseeing the teams
Ideal candidates will:
* Strong mix of B2B sales and account management experience
* Previous experience within a Business Development Manager / BDD Or Account Director role
* Knowledge of working with verticals such as lifestyle / beauty / fashion
* Must be from a relevant industry such as Marketing agency, e-Commerce or similar business solutions
* Demonstrable sales record
* Commercial awareness, with an ability to maximize opportunities
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* High standard of written English and presentation skills
* Ability to manage workload and priorities
* Ability to deal with and influence senior decision makers
