Job Description
Recruitment Solutions are proud to be working alongside an innovate and fast growing company based in Handforth, Cheshire. Due to an exciting period of growth they are now looking for a BDM to join their busy team.
As a new BDM you will focus on selling our software solutions to clients. You will use your experience and knowledge of solution sales and deliver a professional and consultative approach.
This role is very much a 360 sales role being responsible to thrive unaided and close your own sales, with support coming from the Senior Management team as and when required.
The ideal candidate will have strong demonstration skills and be able to present to C-level stakeholders.
What You Will Do
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for :
* Responding to new business opportunities (inbound and generated leads)
* Seeking out new business opportunities (outbound lead generation)
* Presenting product demonstrations and conducting discovery calls.
* Attending in person meetings and collect detailed customer requirements.
* Having intelligent and informed conversations with our clients.
* Monitoring and updating our proprietary CRM system with customer notes, following up and chasing down potential sales leads.
* Promoting the Company’s services.
* Assisting with the preparation of sales contracts.
* Providing trustworthy feedback internally and externally.
* Liaising with the implementation and technical teams.
* Writing high quality proposals and coordinating the proposal process, following standard procedures including planning and implementation.
* Completion and sending of order forms, Ts & Cs, NDA’s and SLA’s
Experience and Skills
Candidates must possess the following skills and experience :
* Confidence in meeting and negotiating with people at different levels in organisations.
* Proven solutions experience within a similar role in a consultative / bespoke business preferably in the IT or software arena.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
* Clean driving license & willing to travel both nationally and internationally
£35,000-£50,000 OTE £90,000+
