Job Description

Role of Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for selling the client's audit software solutions. You will report to the Global New Business Lead, and your focus will be the acquisition of new subscription customers for the client's B2B SaaS product to drive continuous growth of their business.

Responsibilities: Business Development Manager

Generate new sales opportunities through outbound targeting and follow up.
Qualify all sales opportunities through consultative exploratory discussions with prospects.
Conduct demonstrations and presentations to outline the product offering and articulate proposed solutions to prospects.
Translate customer requirements into propositions leveraging the SaaS platform, expert services and other offerings.
Review, interpret, and respond to detailed requests for proposals and other procurement activities.
Develop market sector knowledge and keep current on industry issues and initiatives, and competitor activity, which can be drawn on to engage and position products and services.
Attend Industry events and deliver group presentations and presentations as necessary.
Complete contract negotiations.
Work closely with Customer Success colleagues to handover newly contracted customers.
Achieve performance against clearly defined key performance indicators, including monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
Log all activity in the CRM system, actively managing the customer database to ensure information is kept current to enable accurate reporting, forecasting and targeted marketing activity to generate new business.Competencies: Business Development Manager

(Required)

Bachelor's Degree or a higher.
3+ years experience in a B2B consultative sales role.
A demonstratable track-record of exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
Able to recognise and address customer pain points.
Have a "can do" attitude with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
Be a critical thinker, able to apply sound logical reasoning.
Have brilliant stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Be able to effectively use sales CRM tools such as Hubspot.

Base salary of £25-40k, £65k-105 OTE based on experience (uncapped commissions).
