We have an excellent opportunity for a Court of Protection Paralegal to join a Top 200, Legal 500 Law Firm in their London-based office!

Our client is a long-established law firm who have decades of experience yet a modern, forward-thinking approach. They pride themselves on providing simple yet effective advice to achieve the best outcomes for their clients.
The Opportunity
As a Paralegal in the Court of Protection department, you will work alongside a team of Partners, Solicitors and other Paralegals. Your role will include the following, but additional tasks may be added as appropriate for the role:
Assist in the provision of administrative and legal services for clients.
Assist where requested the provision of legal advice to clients, under supervision. Take notes in client meeting
Attend clients at hospitals, care homes and in their home.
Make regular payments to clients and keep accurate schedules of these payments. Also forecast forward spending and creating of budgets.
Day to day contact with clients and their individual lifestyle requirements.
Manage professionally and confidentially, written and telephone correspondence with clients, other solicitors and third parties
Delegate and supervise tasks where appropriate.
Work as a part of a team under the supervision of a Partner of the firm.
May also receive cases from several Partners and solicitors within the team.
Provide an efficient and friendly service to our clients.
Produce plain English letters, witness statements, court applications and other documents as required.
Maintain client care standards as set out in the firm's terms of business and office manual.This is a full-time role offering a salary of up to £35,000pa.
Requirements
Previous experience in a Court of Protection Paralegal role
Studying for LPC or already have an LPC or SQE1
Able to work to tight deadlines
Good Microsoft skills particularly word and excel
Flexible and proactive approach with 'can do' attitude
Works well under pressure
Organised and able to prioritise
Excellent oral and written communication skills
