The company

My client, based in Greater Manchester is a leading food manufacturer within their category and supply quality products to several high profile customers wish to appoint Customer Marketing Manager.

The role

Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing in a busy food manufacturing business, you will be responsible to drive profitable sales growth through strategic category planning, insight and consumer understanding, to influence customers to progress with proposed category opportunities, build and manage a relationship with customers that means that my client are the preferred supplier for proposed category opportunities, develop and manage a proactive and innovative NPD strategy based on consumer insight. Working with the commercial and NPD teams to ensure opportunities are delivered to agreed timescales and to develop and manage strategic category promotional plans that drive positive consumer behaviour by sector.

The person

Our ideal candidate must have private/own label experience and a deep understanding of data tools. They will be enthusiastic, have a flexible mindset, self-motivated individual with excellent organisational skill, a key motivator within the account team providing strong directional input from a consumer/category perspective, have the ability to work closely with peers across the business to achieve consistency and allow skills sharing, develop strong working relationships with Senior Commercial, Marketing and Development managers to ensure a balanced approach.
