Job Description
Job title: Data Analyst
Location: London (Hybrid/potentially remote)
Salary: Up to £45k p.a.

We are looking for a data analyst with solid database skills including SQL Azure / Azure Data Factories, SSIS, data warehouses/data lakes and Power BI to assist in the design and development of the company Data Platform. You will work with the team and across the business to provide insights on the usage of our platform and on the data we capture and load into it.
You will be familiar with dealing with complex data both structured and unstructured, developing data pipelines, reconciliation, error handling etc.
Successful candidates will have a minimum of two years’ recent experience in developing and delivering cloud scale platforms on Azure in line with skills listed below.
You will work closely with the Data Engineers and development team on all parts of the design and implementation of the data platform and interact with various parts of the organisation to fully
understand the platform data requirements and define processes and tools to assist in data loading, cleansing and reconciliation. You will be self-motivated, always wanting to learn, be able to
manage change in your stride and be seen by the rest of the team and the organisation as the go to person on all matters technical and data. You will relish the opportunity of working in:

Responsibilities:
Assist in the design, development and ongoing support and maintenance of the company data platform as a member of the core development team. Including:
Data lake
Data factories/ Pipelines
Data Enrichment services
Data Cleansing and Reconciliation Services
Development of Product and Data analysis and reporting services.
Support and help maintain disaster recovery and back up services.
Support all efforts within the development team to deliver quality solutions to our clients on time.
Required skills:
Data processing and analysis beyond SQL
Strong SQL language knowledge, schemas, stored procedures, functions etc,
Experience of working with large complex, linear and nonlinear, unstructured data.
Data Analysis skills and tools e.g. Synapse, Power BI etc.
SQL Azure, Cosmos, Azure storage, No SQL
Desirable:
Data lake/ data warehousing. Azure Data Lake, Snowflake
Data factories, data bricks, data pipelines
Azure database hosting , scaling , redundancy, failover and DR.
Experience of AI/ML tools and techniques (e.g. Azure AI)
Good coding skills, our main app is C# & Angular.
Python for M/L would be very useful.
Devops process of CI / CD. Specific experience of Azure DevOps / DataOps
Application Insights very useful
