Job Description

Sue Ross Recruitment are working with a well-respected local charity in the recruitment of a Digital Marketing Co-ordinator.

You will be responsible for working within the Marketing and Communications Team, focussing on the digital marketing activity. The role has particular responsibility to deliver an integrated digital marketing plan to support our other communications and cultivate an engaged, digital audience.

You will analyse as well as deliver their digital marketing activity, sharing feedback and proposing recommendations for their digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

* In liaison with and as directed by the Deputy Marketing Manager, manage and maintain high standards of both content and presentation in all aspects of our digital presence.

* Plan, deliver and analyse e-marketing, digital advertising, social media and website performance, making sure that content is as effective as possible. This plan needs to be integrated with our active campaigns and promotion to keep our activity effective, relevant and timely.

* Confidently deliver and develop our SEO and SEM presence through Google PPC campaigns and social media advertising using Meta Business Manager and LinkedIn Ads.

* Be the key point of contact for booking outdoor advertising locations when required.

* Actively research new digital technologies and provide recommendations for implementation where there is a benefit to doing so.

* To be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of social media channels, including engaging in and monitoring the social conversation via our social media management software, Agorapulse.

* Design visually appealing templates, draft copy and send email marketing campaigns through our email marketing platform.

* Manage mailing lists in line with GDPR regulations ensuring that any updates, such as unsubscribes or hard bounces, are reported back to relevant teams to be updated on our donor management software.

* Provide regular analysis of digital and social media activity and trends to provide the Deputy Marketing Manager and Marketing Manager with data that is useful for future planning.

* Support with photography and video requests (including video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro) to create in-house or externally sourced engaging and effective content to be used on social media, e-marketing and digital adverts.

* Work with the in-house Graphic Designer to create engaging and effective visuals to be used on our digital channels.

* Support with marketing material creation and print campaigns as needed using design software such as Adobe InDesign and Canva under the guidance of our Deputy Marketing Manager and Graphic Designer.

* Work with the Deputy Marketing Manager to coordinate internal communications particularly through our Sharepoint intranet site and all staff email communications.

* To support the Deputy Marketing Manager and Marketing Manager in other ways as may be required from time to time.

* Confidence working as part of the busy and fast-paced Marketing and Communications team.

Required Experience:

2-3 years’ experience working at Marketing Coordinator/Executive Level in a marketing and communications environment, ideally within a not-for-profit organisation

Creation and analysis of e-marketing, digital advertising, website and social media campaigns to generate income, ideally within a charitable setting

Excellent writing and editing skills

Proven experience at building successful relationships

Experience in the following disciplines: digital and social campaign management, integrated communication campaigns, marketing planning and creation of marketing materials, copywriting, website updating, photography, filming, creation of artwork through InDesign or equivalent software

Experience of SEO and Google ad management as well as paid social media advertising through Meta Business Manager and LinkedIn Ads

Full driving licence and own car
