Job Description

Location: Royston (SG8)
Duration: Permanent
Hours: 9am until 5:30pm (Monday to Friday)
Salary: Competitive

Polytec are looking for an Experienced Embedded Software Engineer for our Royston based client. You will need to be able to obtain UK Security Clearance for this role.

Requirements:

* Excellent problem-solving abilities
* Proven experience using C and at least one of C#, C++, MATLAB, PHP, Python or Simulink
* Good, relevant degree (First or 2:1) from a reputable university
* Demonstrable capabilities in design and development of technology solutions
* Experience in some of the following:
– development of applications for Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
– experience of debugging embedded software
– interfacing to standard peripherals (SPI, I2C, UART)
– optimisation for resource constrained applications
– good knowledge of standard algorithms
– ability to develop new and / or adapt existing algorithms
