Job Description

Location: Royston (SG8)
Duration: Permanent
Hours: 9am until 5:30pm (Monday to Friday)
Salary: Competitive

Polytec are looking for an Experienced Firmware Engineer for our Royston based client. You will need to be able to obtain UK Security Clearance for this role.

Requirements:

* Good, relevant degree (First or 2:1) from a reputable university
* Demonstrable capabilities in design and development of technology solutions
* Excellent problem-solving abilities
* Knowledge of interfacing to high and low speed peripherals
* Experience running simulations and testbenches and performing hardware-level debugging
* Experience in some of the following:
– DSP design and modelling
– developing with embedded soft processors
– experience with tools such as Simulink HDL Coder
– experience with OpenCPI
– high-speed electronics design
– embedded software and/or hardware development and testing
– signal processing / algorithm design
