Full Stack PHP Developer – Web

Godstone, Surrey / Hybrid

Full Stack PHP Developer to join an exciting company who works within a number of sectors to deliver access to super-fast broadband infrastructure throughout the UK. This position will see you in a fantastic development team specialising in web applications for cloud-based building safety platforms.

Some of what you will be doing:

* Developing new functionalities for all clients using the company’s software

* Implementing, maintaining, and testing new and existing APIs

* Conducting general database administration

* Testing code and rewriting when required

* Collaborating with the UI/UX team on various projects

* Completing maintenance of virtual servers for clients

* Writing API documentation

* Keeping up to date with the latest trends and technologies

* Building excellent relationships with key clients and supporting communications

* Maintaining internal documentation and systems (JIRA)

* Updating the Version Control System

* Contributing to important meetings either in person, via Teams etc.

Ideally, your skills and experience will include:

* 5+ years’ experience working on PHP and various versions (OOP)

* 5+ years’ experience working with MySQL

* Demonstrable experience developing responsive web-based applications with HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap

* Knowledge of implementing new and existing REST API’s

* Understanding of MVC architecture

* Capability to code (clean, well-documented)

* Positive attitude to contribute to the company’s key values and culture

* Well-versed to work in an Agile environment

* Must have Full UK Driving License & vehicle
