iRecruit Specialist is looking to recruit for a Graduate Software EngineeerThis will be a massive opportunity to choose your own path (implementation/test/dev teams etc) This would suit a Graduate in Bsc in Computer Science.
You will play a crucial role in delivering and supporting successful projects using a suite of tools. You will be working closely with the development and implementation team as well as with some of the world's most prestigious manufacturing companies both on and off site to drive improvement in their productivity. Ultimately you will ensure releases meet the quality standards. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
* Providing first and second-line support to customers
* Liaising with customers (from board room to shop-floor) to understand requirements and how best to apply solutions
* Developing and testing interfaces to 3rd party systems
* Building new screens, dashboards and user interfaces using
* Testing of new releases
* Testing and commissioning the finished system
To be considered for this position, you must have:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* An interest in "out of the box thinking" to create test cases
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Experience of programming in any language
* A strong interest in IT and computer technology
* A good academic record preferably including a degree in a technical subject
* A desire to build a lasting relationship with the company and its customers
* Permanent right to work in the UK
The following would be beneficial to your application:
* Experience supporting an enterprise software application
* Knowledge of SQL or Oracle databases
* Experience in C# or other .Net technologies
