Job Description
Square Peg Associates is actively recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join a dynamic, forward thinking team. You will have a "firm but fair" approach to all aspects of HR and be able to work autonomously. The ideal HR Advisor will be hardworking, dedicated and flexible with internal recruitment experience.
Salary is commensurate with experience, circa £23-25k pa.
Job Description
* Reviewing existing HR policies and creating new policies whilst considering implementing further company benefits if deemed appropriate
* Managing all aspects of recruitment, supporting the department heads with adverts and selection
* Responsible for maintaining all Personnel files including starters and leavers
* Updating the employee handbook and keep abreast of employment law, policies and procedures
* Monitoring sickness and holidays and reporting to the Senior Management team
* Administering Payroll information, Pensions, Insurances, Company expenses and company benefits
* Working on ad-hoc HR Projects
Personal Specification:
* Hands on experience in a HR environment required
* Good knowledge of current employment law
* Recruitment experience is essential
* Able to communicate at all levels
* Approachable with excellent organisational and communication skills
* A natural people person / motivator
