Role Description:
Bridge Recruitment are networking for a HR Manager to join the Team of one of our clients, a company providing Facilities Management services to customers UK-wide. They are looking for a HR Manager to manage a Team of two, looking after HR while also assisting with payroll. As HR Manager you will have a varied role, and will be the first point of contact for all HR-related queries. The ideal HR Manager you will have proven experience in HR management along with in-depth knowledge of HR best practice.
Responsibilities:
* Your role as the HR Manager will be to look after all HR as well as assisting with Payroll for the company
* As HR Manager you will have a varied role including full employee lifecycle and managing ER
* First point of contact for all HR and policy queries
* Ad hoc HR project requirements
* Support wider business goals via productive management of HR department
* Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other disciplinary issues
* Manage the recruitment and selection process
* Manage successful onboarding process
* Carry out new starter induction
* Administer payroll and payroll records and keep accounts appraised of any changes
* Develop HR policy and procedures to drive performance and mitigate disputes
* Work with appropriate parties on reward strategy
* Continuously monitor and review HR policies and processes and implement changes where necessary
* Participate in the implementation of specific projects, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the organisation
* Manage development and implementation of learning and development systems
* Oversee compliance requirements
* Manage admin – software knowledge
Skills and Experience Required:
* As HR Manager in this role, you will be happy managing all aspects of HR and be able to multitask and prioritise at times under pressure
* You will ideally have experience working within an HR administrative role
* May have also started or completed part of your CIPD – however skills and experience are the most important thing
* You may already be a HR Manager or could be a strong Generalist or Senior HR Advisor ready for that step up too
* Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive
* People oriented and results driven
* In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
* Line management experience
