Our client who is a major UK charity is looking for an Infrastructure and Systems Engineer. You will be working within the Operating Technology department. You will be responsible for supporting and ensuring business and service operation runs smoothly by providing technical guidance and advice.

The Infrastructure and Systems Engineer role is a new position within the 3rd line support team. You will be working remotely with some travel may be required.

Responsibilities:

* Maintenance and operation of the network, end-user computing environments, cloud infrastructure backup, security, and disaster recovery solutions

* Implementations of new services and looking after continuous improvement of existing systems

* Quickly and effectively fix technical problems

* Security and reliability of all systems, which include monitoring and logging

Skills and requirements:

* Experience of maintenance and implementation of a complex multi-cloud infrastructure

* Working knowledge of Microsoft cloud ecosystems, which include Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, Microsoft Endpoint Management, Azure Iaas, PaaS, Virtual desktops

* Strong experience of providing 3rd line infrastructure support

* Excellent communication skills through phone, email, instant messaging and face to face to ensure good relationships with stakeholders across the organisation are maintained
