I’m delighted to be supporting a leading Global life science company for the search of an Infrastructure Team Lead.

With sites all over the UK & Europe you will lead a team of Infrastructure Engineers and support staff in the day to day running of on site infrastructure solutions.

After a large period of growth my client are looking for an individual to implement new processes, structures as well as developing an Infrastructure/ Support strategy alongside the Infrastructure Manager to support with the Group objectives.  

This position sits within a wider IT leadership team which means you will be required to work in collaboration with multi-national teams working together to deliver first class services across the UK.

Responsibilities:

Manage on-site support services for sites across the UK
Act as a leader & mentor for a team of IT Engineers
Design, planning and building IT Infrastructure to agreed security/ compliance policies
Offering training/ development and support for reporting team members
Managing & Implementing ITIL based service desk
Responsible for live incident, service requests, maintenance of live projects & services
Managing team on call rota
Key stakeholder for IT escalations & major incidents across the UK
The Successful candidate will have experience/ knowledge with:

ITIL
Networking (LAN, WAN, VPN, TCP/IP, DNS)
Experience of implementing/ managing disaster recovery solutions
Change Management & Security awareness (Patching & Security tooling)
Windows Server Environments & AD
IT Service Management principles
Azure/ AWS
Experience of ISO 27001 (Desirable)
