Job Description

IT Administrator

It Administrator needed for my client in Wolverhampton, you will be handling the first line support calls for all sites and to aid the broader business in IT. To provide support and deputies when required for the Head of IT Systems.

Must have:

Experience of working in an IT environment (5 years minimum)

Hands on experience of hardware & network configuration

Running of data /network cables

Microsoft Office packages – installation, configuration & troubleshooting

Job Specifications:

* Contribute to the smooth running of the IT infrastructure & systems

* 1st line support, handling support calls and emails

* Configuring and resolving issues with desktops, laptops, and mobile devices

* Support and maintenance of CRM/MRP/ERP and related applications

* Maintain IT security and monitor GDPR compliance

* Actively support the IT Manager in day to day running of the IT services

* Respond in a timely and professional manner to all support requests

* Basic server management knowledge

* Support Bespoke inhouse systems

* Cloud systems

Job Requirements:

* Attention to detail – developing processes and documentation

* Report writing and project management

* Good underlying understanding of IT-Desktop/server environments

* Able to work independently as well as part of a team

* Willing to learn new technologies and use their own initiative to ensure the IT systems, processes and user experience are maintained

* Ability to multi-task to complete tasks in the allotted time

* Good communicator who can interact with users at all levels of the organization

* UK full driving license

* Willing to travel – the role will be based out of the Wolverhampton site but travel to other group locations such as (Kidderminster, Luton, Northampton, Silverstone & Bishop Auckland) will be required. Approximately 2 days per week.

* Out of hours cover to deal with business-critical IT emergencies

* VOIP phone systems
