Our client based in Kingston, Milton Keynes is looking for an experienced IT Technical Support Engineer to join their busy team at their newly renovated offices.

The Role:

* Providing desktop support for all system, hardware, and software IT issues both in person and remotely working from a ticket system

* Setting up new devices and software installation

* Supporting mobile devices

* Maintaining the network infrastructure including cabling and replacement of hardware

* Keeping all software up to date ensuring all staff are using the latest version of the software

* Managing hardware returns of leased equipment

* Data management tasks ensuring recovery systems are in place and followed

* Train and teach users on new applications or software

* Maintenance and administration of IT areas

* You could be resolving all kind of errors from software to Laptops, PC's, Printers, Scanners, TV’s etc.

The Right Candidate:

* Great knowledge and understanding of PC hardware and software skills

* Experience of repairing PC hardware and diagnosing software errors

* Experience as a support engineer or similar role

* Excellent communication skills with a strong customer service ethic

* Ability to explain technical details in a simple manner

* Experience of using various communication platforms to resolve any issues

* Taking ownership of issues reported and seeing the issue to resolution point

* Proactive approach to work with the ability to prioritise and work towards deadlines

* Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 products and architecture

* Must hold a clean UK driving licence
