Job Description

The Firm
Our client, a Legal 500, B Corp firm are seeking a Legal Secretary to join their London office.

The Opportunity
The successful candidate will provide general secretarial and administration support. As a Legal Secretary you will assist a number of Fee Earners with effective and high-quality support, enabling them to focus on providing the best legal services to clients. Duties to include:

Managing filing systems and workflows to maintain an effective and up to date filing system
Ensuring opening and closing files/matters are fulfilled in a timely manner
Managing finance transactions and requests for clients and matters
Providing WIP reports, facilitating timely billing and unbilled time review and management
Providing diary management (client meetings and conference calls, drafting communications including emails and client presentations)
Supporting Fee Earners with administrative requirements, such as managing expenses, first point of contact, client management, travel arrangements
Conducting research when requested by Fee Earners or Practice Management
Completing a capacity schedule weekly for the department
Saving post to the files when received from facilities and going through hard-copy post when in the officeThis Legal Secretary position is a full time role, working Monday – Friday, 9:30am -5:30pm

Required Experience

CILEX level 3 qualification
At least 1years' experience in a Junior Legal Secretary role within a law firmVacancy highlights

Hybrid working (2days office based, 3 days working from home)
