The Company:

Theo James is delighted to be supporting this rapidly growing manufacturer in the recruitment of a Marketing & Communications Manager who will be an integral part of their Marketing team.

Skills & Requirements of a Marketing & Communications Manager:

* Proven experience in a similar level role.

* Knowledge of strategic marketing principles.

* Educated to degree level, or equivalent in a relevant field, or with alternative relevant professional experience.

* Knowledge and practical application of the following tools and tactics – PR; Social Media; Digital Marketing (on and offline); Video Marketing; Website administration, Design and print management.

* Experience of writing effective copy for all types of marketing materials.

* Excellent written and oral communication skills.

* Excellent IT literacy and competence across Microsoft applications.

* Knowledge of the principles and practical application of modern marketing methodology (e.g. Content marketing, Inbound marketing, eCRM marketing).

Role of a Marketing & Communications Manager:

* Lead the day-to-day activities of the Marketing team.

* Contribute to and administer a rolling programme of campaigns.

* Act as brand guardian and creative lead, ensuring communications and marketing are always on-brand and communicating a consistent and correct message.

* Work with other departmental members to ensure all marketing activity across organisation is collaborative.

* Lead on developing marketing strategy and creative principles with the Co-CEO and external partners.

* Work with colleagues (Senior Leadership, Operations, Export, Customer Care, IT and Transport departments) and external providers to administer campaigns and meet deadlines to include external marketing consultancy, design/ print suppliers, press and media.

* Deliver a broad spectrum of marcomms activity including PR, copywriting, website administration, digital marketing including social media and e-comms as well as traditional, physical marketing in the form of mailshots, print and other traditional media collateral.

* Attending meetings with external suppliers both on and off site.

* Ensure brand is coherently represented across all platforms.

* Monitor, measure and evaluate all marketing campaigns using available tools.

* Provide recommendations to enhance future activity, based on campaign evaluation outcomes.

* Acting as first point of contact for any marketing enquiries.
