Job Description

Eventus Legal are seeking a Marketing Manager to join a well-established and growing Yorkshire law firm, with their head office in Wakefield. This is a permanent position, and the successful applicant will be rewarded with hybrid working, 26 days holiday (rising with service), group healthcare scheme and a companywide bonus.

Role responsibilities

The incoming Marketing Manager will lead the marketing strategy and direction of the firm across its network of 6 offices, supporting the teams in various projects and campaigns ranging from the creation of promotional literature and pitches, liaising with suppliers and external agencies, event administration, website and social media administration (including assisting the fee-earners with blog articles) and managing the promotional items for the firm.

As the lead marketing individual for the firm you will lead the marketing strategy, both devising, implementing and encouraging buy-in from the staff and management team. You will have the support of a full-time marketing assistant.

Person specification

We are looking for a Marketing Manager that has a degree in marketing, business or a related field with prior marketing experience (must be gained from another professional services organisation, and legal services would be a bonus). Your experience must include event planning and organisation, analysis of marketing activity and producing management information and involvement in strategic decision making in a collaborative environment.

You must be organised, creative, analytical and pay attention to detail at all times, with top notch communication skills. Digital marketing experience is essential, as well as basic knowledge of website administration, as well as competent IT skills including MS office, CRM databases and email marketing.

Working hours are 9am-5pm with one hour for lunch. Ideally applicants will be looking to work full-time, although exceptional applicants looking to work reduced hours will be considered. You must have a driving licence and your own vehicle to travel between offices when required.
