My end user client in Manchester is looking for a Dynamics AX/365FO Developer to join their team on a permanent basis. It's an office based role, and please see below for more information:

The technology team requires a Microsoft Dynamics Developer / Applications Engineer who takes an end-to-end, process-based approach to enhance the business through; simplification, operations excellence, enterprise transformation, and delivering inspiring solutions for sustained profitable growth. Ideally you will have been through migrating Microsoft Dynamics AX to Dynamics 365 F&O, and held significant responsibility for success throughout. A manufacturing background is an advantage; however retail, finance, and e-commerce are also of keen interest.

What You Can Expect To Be Doing

You will enjoy the autonomy to work directly across the business with subject matter experts, to first understand and then respond to broad and varied business challenges
Serve as the point of contact and subject matter expert for core business applications and databases, initially AX then advancing to D365
Support workshops to understand requirements and develop solutions for critical problems and numerous growth opportunities
Lead change, design, and development cycles for application updates / enhancements
Review software upgrades and patching and complete testing
Opportunity to lead throughout the project life cycle, taking ownership of multiple Projects and Requests through to timely resolution and stakeholder satisfaction

About You

Excellent Microsoft applications end-to-end development and maintenance experience e.g. AX, D365, Azure, etc. Confident in design, testing, and training scalable solutions
A solid communicator with practiced interpersonal skills, an enabler for collaboration
Advanced knowledge of the wider Microsoft technology shell (Power BI / CRM / Office)
Strong understanding of leading databases and design best practice
Good requirements gathering skills, delivering both current and future-state solution design documentation
Comfortable to set and deliver to tight deadlines, work in an efficient manner
