Paralegal – Permanent – hybrid working (Solihull Office) – Salary up to £45k (Depending on experience)

The role of a Paralegal is to provide compliance and legal governance to my client and any associated companies whilst supporting the negotiation of various agreements such as commercial, supply and real estate.

This role reports into the Chief Legal Officer

Main Duties include:

* Assist the business with other legal, insurance and compliance matters

* Prepare and assist in the negotiation of various commercial agreements, including supply agreements and real estate leases

* Manage the legal governance associated with contract reviews, dealing with disputes / claims and litigation

* Attend to corporate secretarial matters

* Management of insurance policies including annual renewals and claims handling

* Completion of the annual compliance returns such as Packaging Waste/Plastic Taxes/Annual Payment Practices reporting/Annual PAYE Settlement Agreements (PSA)

* Bank administration support including Deferred Duty bond duties

Working hours:

40 hours Monday to Friday – with the opportunity to work 3 days in the office and 2 from home

What you'll need to succeed:

* Strong cultural fit with values of ownership, teamwork and respect

* NALP Paralegal practice award, certificate, diploma

* 5 years of relevant Paralegal experience

* Experience of real estate, litigation, commercial, insurance and compliance matters (essential)

* Strong oral and written communication, attention to detail and willingness to learn

* Practical and business-oriented approach to the delivery of legal services

* Ability to efficiently manage a high volume of work with urgency and with limited supervision

Bonus point if you have:

* Postgraduate Paralegal diploma

* A Law degree
