Job description
The Role
We are looking for a bright and motivated individual to join our team as a commercial paralegal on a full-time basis. You will need to have a keen interest in the areas of corporate, commercial, intellectual property and employment law (our core areas of law). We welcome applications from individuals with experience in other areas of business law so long as the experience is relevant. It will be your job to work closely with our Client Partners and Associates to ensure they are supported and our clients receive the advice they need in a timely manner.
As a Paralegal, your responsibilities will include reviewing and drafting legal documents, carrying out detailed legal research, delivering guidance to our team and our clients while ensuring the firms cloud based file systems are updated and maintained. And when you’re not helping our clients to grow and protect their businesses, you’ll be working closely with the management team to help grow and develop our business and your role within it.
Career Progression, Support & Training
This is all about you. The natural career progression from a paralegal is to a Client Partner where you will have your own portfolio of clients to manage and support. Our Client Partners are also eligible for our training and support with qualifying either as a solicitor or a Chartered Legal Executive. While you will receive lots of development and practical experience across our core areas, we will invest in the necessary external training courses to support you with your qualification. Equally if you’re happy with building your experience as a paralegal, there will be plenty of opportunities for growth in terms of your salary, professional and personal experience.
