Leeds

£35 – 40k + performance bonus

Do you have several years sales experience demonstrating success in owning a product/service and developing existing accounts and identifying and opening new opportunities?

The Business MJ Petfoods & Proteins are one of the leading, privately owned, suppliers of ingredients and raw materials to the UK and European Pet Food Manufacturing Industry. They have been supplying ingredients and supplements to pet food manufacturers for over 15 years. Since they were formed their unwavering focus on quality, service and cost effectiveness has earned them a reputation for excellence, and on the back of that, continuous growth.

The Role The Product Managers role will be responsible for generating leads and developing opportunities with both existing customers and new clients. Duties will include sales presentations and product demonstrations, as well as negotiating contracts with potential clients within the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

Generating leads
Meeting or exceeding sales goals
Negotiating contracts with prospective clients
Helping to determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations
Preparing and delivering sales presentations
Coordinating sales efforts in collaboration with the marketing team
Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders
Working in a collaborative way with all areas of the business
Key Skills and Experience

A minimum of 3 years of sales success
A commitment to outstanding customer service.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
Capability to update the businesses social media output would be useful
The ability to understand and accurately convey technical specifications
