QA Test Engineer

Chertsey- Hybrid 2/3 days a week

Here at Cornucopia ITR we have partnered with a Globally recognised Technology Leader. They are currently on the lookout for an experience QA Test Engineer to Join one of their teams based in Chertsey. This role is part of a newly formed development team which is a piece of the wider European Head office. The role will be varied and pivotal, improving customer experience across Europe.

The Role;

* Review documentation to ensure that requirements stated are correct, unambiguous, and verifiable.

* Provide inputs on the creation of User Stories to the Product Owner

* Estimate User Stories approved by the Product Owner

* Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases

* Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities

* Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs/ defects

* Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs

* Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements

* Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts

* Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and plan strategies

Skills;

* Proactive, independent, responsible attitude

* Strong experience in working with the large organization, multiple stakeholders and big agencies

* Manual Testing, AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) Testing, Web site testing, Browser Stack testing

* Full test life cycle liaising with software development teams

* Able to write test cases for end user UI

* Understanding of WCAG 2.0 accessibility guidelines

* Deep knowledge of the Scrum framework and an understanding on how to implement it effectively for any software project

* Experienced using Jira

* Excellent team skills, necessary for the collaboration with the other team members
