Job Description

Sales Manager (In-house)
Watford
£25,000 – £30,000 (DOE) + Commission

Grafton Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a market-leading fuel distributor company to source a self-starter Sales Manager, with a proven track record of producing great sales by making and receiving calls from prospective and current clients.

The ideal candidate for Sales Manager will concentrate on two key areas; Sales Development, by providing quotes and follow-ups for new and repeat customers, as well as offering service coordination support for prompt, effective service delivery and all related needs.

THE ROLE:
Some of your responsibilities as a Sales Manager are listed below:

Communicate with supplier contacts as necessary, such as when providing services.
Maintaining a customer database on your own, proactive calling, organising orders, and managing tasks.
Exploiting fresh prospects by leveraging Depot's lists of lapsed customers
Contacting prospective customers
Proactive telephoning of potential or lost customers to assist with sales
Processing Sales and Purchase orders
You will be required to visit customers via our pool car/pick-up if required
THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal Sales Manager:

Proven track record in internal sales
Very good communication skills with a confident telephone manner
Excellent self-management and planning skills
Prior sales and customer relationship management experience and outcomes.
Excellent English communication abilities (written and spoken)
Previous experience working in the Fuel / Oil / Energy sector is preferable
Works hard to meet monthly KPI Targets
Self-motivated
Ability to work under pressureBENEFITS:

£25,000 – £30,000 (DOE) – OTE £50,000
Up to £1000 commission a month
