Job Description

Desk Sales Executives

£24,000 + Commission + Pension Scheme + 25 days holiday

Major has teamed up with a longstanding and successful business based in Leeds, which is the best known and the market leading brand in Telecommunications. We are looking to grow, with plans to hire several Desk Sales Executives to join our buzzing sales team. We offer bespoke training & mentorship and a development route to senior positions within the business. We value staff highly and recognise & reward hard work & success, with all of the management team also being promoted from within.

The role:

As a Sales Executive you will target the SME sector in the North East, promoting and selling BT's products & services. The Sales Exec role requires a consultative/challenger sales approach by understanding decision maker processes & business needs in order tailor packages to clients. This role involves direct selling as well as an element of opportunity generation for Senior and Field Sales Execs, for larger prospects. Sales Executives will have the opportunity to manage the accounts that they secure for the purposes of referral and repeat business. A strong work ethic is essential for all roles.

You'll have the following responsibilities:

Make outbound calls and answer incoming calls to the customer base.
Sell the range of products and services
Build strong customer relationships.
Proactively contact the customer base and promote businesses products and services to the customer base.
Ensure customer satisfaction is achieved in all our dealings with the customer base.
Create leads for other parts of the business (i.e. Field Sales Consultants or product specialists) When appropriate, make appointments for them.
Manage customer expectation in terms of delivery, installation, and billing to ensure our commitment to the customer.
Be familiar with all of the ordering processes
Keep informed on any changes to the product and services portfolio and any changes in pricing.
Develop customer contact strategies.You'll have the following skills & experience

Entry/ Junior

Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills – you must really enjoy engaging with others on a regular basis
Resilient and confident in making outbound calls
Comfortable working in a target driven environment
Organised, with excellent time management skills
Proficient in IT and Microsoft
Self-motivated, with a strong desire to succeedExperienced

Resilient and confident in making outbound calls.
Brilliant at influencing and persuading others
Confident to handle objections and challenging conversations
Understanding of new technology that is emerging and the ability to communicate this clear and concise to our customers.
Familiar with software such as salesforce
Passion to achieve goals set by the sales management
Business to Business sales experience (outbound calling)
Telecoms/IT experience is desirable but not essential if you are willing to learnThe Person:
