Working as part of a small sales team, you will be accountable for all aspects of the sales process from research, initial call, presentation and negotiation, to the closing of an opportunity. The Sales Executive will be required to take a range of products to the market place and sell to both existing and new customers.

Your role will involve:

* Achieving individual revenue targets and supporting overall company business objectives

* Conducting research on the customer base and competitor activity within the post holder’s area and preparing a plan of action for targeting prospects and existing customers

* Planning, organising and conducting on line meetings with existing and prospective customers to maximise the value of accounts. In between meetings, carrying out business with customers and prospects through letter, telephone and email correspondence

* Maintaining and updating an accurate record of all accounts, contacts and related opportunities

* Maintaining links by telephone, post or email with the customer service team and being prepared to intervene in the after-sales and production process when the demands of the customer necessitate

* Following developments within the sector as a whole and within area

* Submitting reports (for example, sales forecasts, activity and results)

You will be the ideal candidate due to your:

* Professional telephone manner, excellent oral communication and satisfactory writing skills

* Excellent presentation and negotiation skills

* Well organised

* Good IT skills – proficiency with Microsoft Office and excel applications above beginner standard and an aptitude for the accurate retrieval, entry and analysis of information in the Company’s database

* Full driving licence
