We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced senior developer to join our client's Risk IT team in London. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and development of best-in-class, enterprise scale applications using cutting-edge technologies. This person will take ownership of deliveries and work closely with the team to learn about investment banking and risk management. They will also be an integral part of our client's cloud journey as they move towards a microservice architecture.

Responsibilities:

* Drive deliveries within a supportive team

* Learn about investment banking and risk management

* Build the best applications using the latest technologies

* Help move applications to the cloud using microservices

* Lead a team on a variety of projects

Qualifications:

* Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or a related field

* 9+ years of software development experience

* Strong full stack development skills with experience in object-oriented programming

* Experience with agile practices and microservice architecture

* Understanding of the SDLC and familiarity with continuous integration, delivery and build automation

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

* Strong leadership skills

* Unix/Linux and shell scripting experience is a plus

* Familiarity with .NET, SQL, Azure, and Python is a plus
