Lead Infrastructure Engineer

F/T, permanent (hybrid)

Circa £60,000 – £65,000pa DOE

We are currently recruiting for a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join a fast growing, technology company providing cutting edge Software and Infrastructure solutions for the detection of online criminal activity.

This hands-on technical role will offer the post-holder the opportunity for rapid career development and the chance to expand and diversify their skill set in an interesting and important field of work.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

* Provide robust, scalable infrastructure that supports the needs of the company and customers

* Oversee monitoring of the environment and identify issues of security, capacity and performance

* Manage and maintain platforms such as SAN storage, hypervisor and load balancers (such as WMware/Kemp)

* Develop processes and procedures as well as systems documentation

* Take part in out-of-hours provision in the event of critical system or network failure

This role is based in central Liverpool, applicants will need to be able to travel into the city 2-3 days a week. Please note no parking is available at the office.

Candidates must be eligible to obtain SC security clearance (usually British passport or 5 years’ residency)

Salary will be commensurate with experience circa £60,000 – £65,000pa
