Based in Southam, a position has arisen for a Workshop/ Service Manager to work within a business that supplies high specification self-propelled sprayers, tractors and most other agricultural implements.
Very much a management position for a Service Manager you will come from a Service manager or similar background. As Service Manager you will be managing a team of Agricultural Technicians. The Service Manager also ensures the workshop runs at a profit and the staff within it are working efficiently and to the best of their abilities.
As an experienced Workshop / Service Manager or ready to take that next step up, your responsibilities as Service Manager will include:
· Staff organisation and management
· Ensuring the quality standards of the business are maintained or exceeded at all times
· Maximising the profitably of the department
· Warranty claim, invoicing and all relevant paperwork
As the successful Service Manager you will be responsible for identifying development opportunities for your team, helping them realise their career ambitions and adding value to the business. The Service Manager is responsible for building the business and is an important part of your position. You will be promoting the company, prospecting for new business and looking after your existing business. This will include visits to new and existing business off site.
This company operate strong standards in terms of cleanliness, tidiness and good housekeeping. The Service Manager will ensure that these standards are maintained by your team.
A permanent position the standard working hours for the Service Manager are 39 hours a week and will be 0800am to 1630pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 1530pm on a Friday.
