Job Description

Exciting Permanent position for Shift Manager for large manufacturer in Telford.

Will be managing a team of c 20 Production/Machine Operatives ensuring efficiency, quality and safety objectives connected to shift productivity is achieved.

Responsible for: managing waste control, labour costs, material usage, leading and motivating team along with performance appraisals, disciplinary's. Running Production Lines ensuring production targets achieved whilst maintaining high quality standards.

Experience required:

Supervisory experience in leadng a team of at least 20 people

ILM team leader training or equivalent

TPM/Lean Manufacturing knowledge and application

Experience in operating converting lines/process knowledge

Engineering background or a base knowledge of mechanics/electronics

Hours 6am – 6pm/6pm-6am 4 on 4 off, 1 week of days, 1 week of nights

Salary £44,720
