Job Description

Wonderful opportunity to join a great team working for one of the leading FM & energy services company in the UK to work on a historic university site in Cambridge.

Salary – £50,000 – £60,000

Leading energy services company in the UK, working on a recognisable site, looking for an individual who cares for social responsibility and sustainable practices.

* Develop new Sustainability Strategy & Reporting framework working with internal teams.

* Implement new Responsible Business sections in line with sites action Plan

* Work with internal teams to meet contract specific internal targets

* Ensure all Sustainable / Social Responsible values work is undertaken to internal and external standards and guidelines.

* Live and Breath best practice and actively promoting the company’s values and objectives

* Create new social campaigns to increase exposure including volunteering opportunities, Clean Air Day campaign, Save Water campaign etc.

* Ensure all internal reportable data (Energy, Water, Waste, Social Initiatives, Volunteering etc) is reported accurately on the internal systems

* Ensure that all new frameworks and work is submitted in the agreed template and to the agreed timeframe

* Ensure compliance with any environmental legislation

* Hold close out meetings where applicable, to ensure environmental incidents/ investigations are fully closed and firm action plans with recommendations are presented to prevent further occurrence

Essential

* IEMA / Practitioner qualification or working towards

* Great knowledge in reducing waste, water, energy usage

* Ability to understand and collect data

* Desirable to have experience within the construction, energy sector, FM or related industries

* Previous experience with FM company & understanding of how a contract operates

* Up to date understanding of current environmental legislation & responsible business

* Enhanced DBS check
