Software Buyer (IT Channel)
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000
Location: London / Hybrid remote

We’re currently recruiting a Software Buyer to join a growing business in the IT Channel.
You will be buying the latest cyber security products, virtual reality equipment or working with artificial intelligence vendors. We provide the world’s biggest brands with technologies that deliver a competitive edge and real value too enterprise organisations.
You’ll work as part of a team to negotiate, deliver and ensure best practise across a wide portfolio of technologies.
You:
* Knowledge of IT industry preferably having worked in the IT Channel previously
* Experience if Software Purchasing and IT Procurement
* Knowledge of software licensing is essential
* Good eye for detail
* Fantastic communicator who easily builds strong relationships
* Must be fluent in English and one or more of the following languages would be a bonus: German, French, Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian, Polish, Spanish
The Role:
* Build relationships with new and existing vendors
* Work with Sales-team to identify best sourcing routes
* Utilise the current supply base to source Software in the first instance
* Go out to market to source Software where the requirements cannot be met within the current supply base
* Qualify any new Suppliers as appropriate
* Understand the licensing models and review commercial details
* Provide quotations to the Sales team & place supplier purchase orders
* Identify projects, savings and efficiencies within the allocated commodity
* Contribute to a positive and enjoyable team environment
