An exciting opportunity has been made available to join the bank as a Software Engineer.

We are Virtual Assistant/Chatbots Product team, we push the boundaries and bring innovation. We collaborate to provide a hybrid chatbot and agent solution available for our customer across Santander channels. We are an Agile team with multiple squads working with the most powerful technologies.

Our teams adopt change and continually look for new and better ways to deliver. On this role we expect someone proactive and with passion for technology, happy to speak up and bring ideas to the team. Confident and capable of working in E2E solutions, from understanding the requirements, implement it and deliver it.

Managing complex task end to end from development to release to final customers

Delivering technical solutions to help our customer and business grow

Reporting to a manager within Innovation area

Providing the best solutions, participating in the decisions about our stack and architecture

Ensuring that our releases are delivered with high quality outputs to our customers

Analysing with the PO/BA requirements to understand our customer needs

What you'll bring.

Broad experience of agile software development practices (Unit testing, Test driven development or CI/CD)

You have managed and coordinated large technical teams, with multiple squads as well as putting together the release plan shared with stakeholder and taking accountability of the deliveries

It would also be nice for you to have.

Good Knowledge on AWS ecosystem

Able to define technical architecture solutions

This is a permanent role to be based in Milton Keynes, but with some home working and travel to the Milton Keynes office agreed in accordance with your Line Manager.
