Software Engineer (Python, C++)
Leeds – Hybrid (1/2 days a week in office)
£50,000 – £60,000 DOE + Training, Holiday, Pension, Progression

Great opportunity for a Software Engineer to join a rapidly growing company who are offering great training and progression opportunities and the chance to work on challenging projects in a highly lean environment.

This company has been around for over 30 years designing and producing bespoke systems for engineering applications. They also work on developing a number of items for challenging environments, they are experts in understanding how challenging environments affect complex machinery and design effective solutions to overcome this.

In this role you will be responsible for the development of complete software solutions including understanding of desktop control systems for large scale electromechanical assemblies. You will also be responsible for the complete maintenance and updates of legacy Python and C++ systems including migration, upgrading and development of existing software.

The ideal candidate will be a Python Developer with good knowledge of C++. You will also be experienced with Linux and have basic SQL knowledge for database work and experience with frontend langauges such as JavaScript. Any knowledge of containerisation, TCP/IP networking, Git and Jenkins is advantageous.

*Proven commercial experience using Python and C++
