Sayjo Recruitment Ltd are acting on behalf of a client, to recruit a Specification Sales Rep. The successful candidate will cover the North of the UK, from Yorkshire to the Scottish Highlands.
Our client is a well-established distributor, based in Yorkshire, they sell via Architects across the UK. We are looking for motivated, professional Sales Rep with previous experience of Specification Sales. It is also possible that, in some areas, not currently covered by other members of the team, that there is an opportunity to sell to both house builders and developers.
Our client, has an excellent reputation for providing a quality product, it has excellent marketing material, can provide samples and an internal sales support function, to help the appointed candidate achieve success in this role.
Responsibilities:
* To promote products to Specifiers, Architects, House Builders and Developers
* Focussing all of your time, to win business from generating specifications from specifiers.
* Predominantly new business which will include some incoming enquires and there is a small portion of account management to maintain excellent relations with existing contacts.
* Willingness to travel and support exhibitions
Requirements:
* At least 3 years previous experience in a specification sales role.
* Open on what building materials you’ve sold as long as you have the right route to market
* UK Driving License
* Willingness to travel for work (Area Yorkshire, North East to Scottish Highlands)
* To be able to access the office as and when required, for meetings and samples etc….

Package:
* Salary Circa £40k – £45K (negotiable dependant on experience)
