Job Description

Are you a personable, positive, energetic and professional individual that is looking for an opportunity to break into a Sales/Business Development role within the Network Connectivity industry? Do you want to work for a leading distributor of affordable network accessories who supply domestic and international customers with optical network transceivers, fibre optic cabling, rackmounts, memory and many other accessories for networks and servers?
The successful candidate will initially work alongside the Sales Support team for 1 year to learn the industry, clients, products, and the business as a whole. This will include administration tasks, quoting clients, processing sales orders, supporting customer service requirements and answering inbound calls. After a successful probationary period of 3 months, the role will progress into a hybrid role consisting of 50% administration and 50% sales support (New business/outbound profiling lead projects – This will involve cold calling).
Responsibilities:
* Meet minimum daily outbound call targets
* Hit monthly sales revenue and margin targets
* Manage and share weekly/monthly sales pipeline documents to management
* Maintain the CRM system, ensuring client details and sale opportunities are accurate
* Prospecting new clients
* Developing relationships
* Managing your existing accounts
* Contributing to marketing campaigns
* Developing new product lines and offerings
* Creating and submitting business proposals
* Taking the lead on conference calls and presentations for new business
* Running promotional campaigns
* No experience is needed, but previous exposure to a Sales/Customer Service/IT environment could be beneficial.

* A clear and well-spoken telephone manner
* Attention to detail
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
Hours for this role are Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm
